After the sacking of David Obua as Uganda Revenue Authority FC head coach and naming Robert Mukasa as interim head coach, they [URA FC] are destined to rehire Alex Isabirye on permanent basis.
Alex Isabirye Musongola has previously worked with URA FC on two occasions, first as assistant coach to Moses Basena in 2009 before taking over as head coach, the following year.
He left URA FC in 2013 to join now defunct SC Victoria University before returning back in 2014 in the same capacity.
Isabirye is the last coach to deliver glory at tax collectors in 2014 with Uganda Cup triumph.
Isabirye’s last job was at Express FC before deciding to step down in short period because of financial issues.
He faces a stiff competition from Greek Petros Koukouras and Peters Onen, who are also in line for the job.
