Football Associations of Zambia (FAZ) have parted ways with Serbian born Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.
“FAZ can confirm that it has reached a mutual separation agreement with it’s senior Men’s National team Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic after a meeting between Faz and the coach. It was agreed that in the interest of progress for both parties they had to separate.” Says Faz general Secretary Adrian Kashala.
Micho was appointed as Zambian National football team coach on 3rd February 2020 on a two year contract and his stay had left on only 7 months to end.
His sacking follows after Zambia having a poor performance in the ongoing Cosafa tournament, failing to get out the group.
He didn’t guide the Chipolopolo to the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
Micho has formerly coached Rwanda and Uganda as national teams head coaches
