Ex-KCCA Football Club midfielder, Mike Sulaiman Mutyaba has sent a strong emotional message to departed Muzamir Mutyaba from KCCA FC.
Both Mutyaba’s were Mike Mutebi’s players last season, before Mutyaba Sulaiman coming out to announce his second retirement from the beautiful game of football due to the injuries. And over the weekend KCCA FC came out officially to announce the departure of Muzamir after six years of serving.
Sulaiman Mutyaba has used his Facebook account to send a strong message to his Ex teammate, showing him how his exceptional talent has inspired the Young ones, serving as an example and will miss him.
“I rarely speak about great players but today I feel can’t hold it. It’s hard to see you leave mate. Your one player who always made it easy for everyone else on the field.” Sulaiman Mutyaba Mike wrote on his Facebook wall.
“You have inspired lots of young ones and served as an example at the same time which I have witnessed personally.” He added.
“We can’t change the fact that in football good players come and go but you have left our hearts melting.” He continued
“We will forever miss you ‘muganda wange’ (little brother) and the best I can say is to wish you the very wherever you go.” He concluded.
Mutyaba Sulaiman retired from football and has now embarked on his new journey in politics. He is contesting for Councilor Local Council V in Mutundwe ward.
Previously after his initial retirement, he ventured into being a players’ intermediary but tried for a short time before quitting it and getting back on the pitch again.
He played for Uganda U23, Uganda Cranes at the National Team level, and at Club football, here at home he has played for Bunamwaya FC (Vipers SC ), Express FC, and KCCA FC.
And outside Uganda, he featured for EL Merreikh, TP Mazembe.
