Uganda’s Under 20 women national football team defeated Kenya U20 (3-1) in the return game played at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende to set the fixture against South Africa in the second round of world Cup Qualifiers .
Magret Kunihira got Uganda off the Mark as early as 14th minute with an easy tap in from a resultant corner kick.
Kenya’s Peris Oside converted the penalty in 20th minute to bring game at level before Hadijjah Nandago restoring Uganda’s lead (2-1) in 37th before end of first half.
Uganda’s poster girl Juliet Nalukenge rose on to occasions as she sealed Uganda’s victory in 88′ from a well taken free kick near edge of the box.
Uganda advance to the second round on a 10 – 3 aggreagate and they face South Africa.
