“We did not have enough time to achieve what we wanted.” Koukouras on his sacking.

Four days ago (23rd June 2022) the Greek coach, Petros Koukouras was shown exit by  the Uganda Premier League record Champions, SC Villa.

Koukouras had not spoken then, since  parting ways with the jogoo side but he took  time to announce that he terminated his contract with SC Villa.

In a statement he posted on his twitter handle, he did reveal that they did not have enough time to achieve what we wanted.

“I have officially terminated my contract with @SCVillaJogoo.It’s been a season full of emotions and great memories. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to achieve what we wanted but I leave as a friend. I won’t say goodbye but see you soon.” Koukouras posted.

“I want to thank all my players for their commitment and dedication, you have been fantastic and you will always possess a special place in my heart. Lastly I can’t forget our amazing fans, I thank you for the love and support you had on me. Always a proud. He added.

SC Villa haven’t named his replacement but this site will keep you updated on the matter.

Jackson Magera is in charge of the team on interim basis.
