Wakiso Giants, Express FC game gets new date.

Uganda Premier League Secretariat has rescheduled the League game match number 56 which was take place on Saturday 11th November between Wakiso Giants and Express FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu ground, and was suspended because the red eagles were on ban after incidents of hooliganism happened after their game against UPDF FC were referee Fahad Sekabuya was assaulted.

Express FC has missed playing two games after the referees boycotting their game, the one against old rivals SC Villa and Wakiso Giants.

Since then, Fufa has resolved the issues and lifted the ban and advised UPL to reschedule the games missed by Express FC.

FUFA confirmed that it will cater all medical bills for assaulted referee Fahad Sekabuya.

In the new date, Wakiso Giants will face off with Express FC on 19th November 2023.

Meanwhile the game were they were supposed to host will have a new date after the international break is done because Villa has three (3) players on the final Uganda Cranes squad that is traveling for the World cup Qualifiers games against Guinea and Somalia.

And these players are Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Kenneth Ssemakula and Umar Lutalo.

Express FC still the unbeaten team in the league after Bul FC and Vipers SC lost their corresponding matches on match 7 against UPDF FC (2-0) and KCCA FC (3-1) respectively.
