Uganda’s champions, Vipers Sports Club defeated Tanzania’s champions, Young Africans Sports Club in an international Friendly match played at fully packed Benjamin Mkapa stadium, Daresalaam.
Milton Karisa scored the first goal for venoms as early as 1st minute when finished off a well calculated through ball by Yunus Ssentamu to Viper SC in the lead.
Bright Anukani doubled the lead in 63rd minute after scoring from a direct corner kick.
Both teams were testing their new players they are going to use in CAF champions league preliminary round.
Yanga were as well celebrating the wiki ya mwananchi day, which is being held every year, the day on which they unveil new players and new kits for the club.
Among the new players for Yanga that were given some minutes of play included, Aziz Ki from Burkinafaso, Gael Bigirimana from Brundi and Bernard Morrison who just returned to club he played for before.
Meanwhile, Viper SC new signing Goalkeeper, Mudekereza, started in between the goal posts, Mandela Ashraf started at the right back, Isa Mubiru on the left back and Youngman Marvin Joseph in the central midfielder.
