In a bid to strengthen the team ahead of the CAF Champions League group stages and the Uganda Premier League second round, Vipers SC has added another forward to their roaster.
The five-time Uganda Premier League champions have netted down Ivory Coast striker Ahmed Desire Titty to a two-year employment contract.
He joins after ending his short stay at Tunisia’s top-flight side EO Sidi Bouzid, a side he joined in 2022.
The 24-year-old has previously featured for sides across Africa, Europe, and Asia, enjoying the biggest part of his career with the latter.
Before his Tunisia spell, Titty played for Kuwait sides Al-Sulaibikhat, Al-Sahel (2019/20), Al-Jahra SC (2020/21), and Al-Shabab in the 2021/22 season.
However, before joining the latter in the 2021/22 campaign, he had a short stint with Portuguese division two side Academico Viseu.
He joins three other additions in Karim Ndugwa, Martin Kizza, and Congolese midfielder Serge Robert Mwenge.
He becomes the ninth foreign star with the Venoms after DRC natives Alfred Mudekereza, Olivier Osomba, Gracia Mpongo Mbombo, Rodriguez Shamamba, Darcy Mbaka, and Nigerian Abubakar Lawal.
