UPL: Vipers SC edge struggling SC Villa.

Vipers SC got back to winning ways in the Uganda Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 victory over 16 times league record Champions, SC Villa in a game played in the evening of Wednesday, 10th March at St Mary’s Stadium.

Dan ‘Mzeei’ Serunkuma, Yunus Sentamu and Paul Willa are the payers who were on target for the defending Champions to ensure that they get back to winning ways after last weekend’s loss against Mbarara City FC.

Fred Kajoba’s coached team had gone two consecutive seasons without tasting victory over the Joogo side at St Mary’s Kitende with all games ending in favor of SC Villa.

Vipers SC have now put a seven straight games winning run at St Mary’s Stadium.

The victory means that Vipers SC returns back to the top of the table go tie on points (30) with URA FC but beats them on goal difference after match day 13 of 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

SC Villa finished off the game with 10 men on the pitch after right back Joseph was sent off in the 78th for after getting a second booking.

In other games that were played on Wednesday included Kitara FC getting their first victory of the season as well as the first in the top flight league after labouring a 3-2 win over Waksio Giants.

And BUL FC defeated Bright Stars FC (2-0) away from home.
