Federation of Uganda Football association (FUFA) has revealed new dates for the upcoming 2020/21 season of the top flight league.
Initially the league was tentatively set to kick start on 17th October 2020, but following an Executive that sat to discuss the fate of new season and agreed to push the league to next month of November pending on the dates.
In a document released by the football governing body, the upcoming season is set to kick start on 20th November 2020 with fixtures expected to ready by 20th of this very month of October.

“Kick off of the 2020/2021 season is postponed from Saturday 17th October 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020.
The Club Licensing exercise has been extended to 15th October 2020 to enable the process of planning and release of fixtures by Tuesday 20th October 2020.” Reads part of document released by FUFA.
The player registration is also extended by four weeks untill 19th October 2020.
Club Licensing and player registration will continue to conclusion.

Further guidance will be given on fixtures and kick off dates.”
15 clubs are confirmed to take the upcoming season with only spot still wait to be decided this month when the FUFA big league playoffs do return. With Ndejje University, Kataka Mbale, Kiboga Young/Mbale Heroes and Kitara FC fighting for the final slot.
