The StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2020/21 season will continue Today of Friday, 18th June 2021 as Army side UPDF FC hosts troubled SC Villa at a ground which is shared by both teams as their home ground (Boombo Military ground).

SC Villa comes into this game with their unsettled camp after Technical Team in the mid of the week laying down tools asking for their unpaid monthly salaries, but they have to put all that at their back if they to pick any positive result from a team they lost to in the first fixture (1-0).

Edward Kaziba’s coached side are sitting in 9th position on 36 points and just 2 points above their opponents who are in 10th place on the table.

And a win for Joogo side will propel them to 7th position.

Meanwhile a win for Kefa Kisala’s charges will see them displace SC Villa from 9th position.

SC Villa won their previous game against Kyetume FC and hope to build on that if to pick a victory over UPDF FC who lost to URA FC 2-0 in the previous League game and have not tasted any victory in their last 5 past games.

SC Villa will be playing without the services of their key players, the likes of Andrew Kiwanuka, Meddie Kibirige and Ronald Olaki who are sick.

Meanwhile Uganda Hippos captain Gavin Kizito returns to the team and available for selection.

Despite the fact that amidst SC Villa’s Coaches laying down tools strike, the Head Coach (Edward Kaziba ) is confident that they have prepared enough to win this encounter.

“We have had enough time to prepare for tomorrow’s game and so we have taken advantage of that. My players have been very positive towards the drills. Kaziba quoted by club website.

“Having lost to UPDF in the first round, we need to win tomorrow to avenge that loss and also improve our position on the table.”
