UPL: Kitara FC drop points against against Mbarara City FC in title chase.

Kitara Football club has shared spoils with Mbarara City FC in a league game played at Masindi stadium on evening of Tuesday, 30th April.

This result meant that, the royals drop two vital points in their race for title.

Dennis Omedi scored as early as 9th minute after turning on Mbarara City’s defenders and shoot into back of the net to fire Kitara FC into early lead.

Seiri Arigumaho scored the equalizer in 82nd minute after jumping high to head on Joseph Akandwanaho’s well laid cross to make it 1-1.

Paul Mucureezi missed on opportunity to restore Kitara FC lead in 90+3′ after his free kick at edge of the box hit the wall and went into corner kick.

Kitara FC, despite drawing, they still remain on top of the league summit and move to 48 points as they wait on the outcome of tomorrow’s game as third based BUL FC hosts second based Vipers SC at 4:00 pm at newly refurbished Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

Kitara FC will host Busoga United FC in their next fixture of Match day 27.
