UPL: Kagimu, Cromwell goals against Police FC guides URA FC to the top of the league.

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) go top of the league after defeating Police FC (2-0) in a Uganda Premier League match that took place at MTN Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Shafic Kagimu scored in 24th minute before assisting Cromwell Rwothomio in 68th minute to edge Police FC.

After the victory, tax collectors went to top of the league summit with Express FC slip against UPDF FC were the lost the tie (1-0).

Sam Simbwa coached side now top of the table with 30 points pending on the out of Vipers – SC Villa tie which is taking place today 10th March, at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

If Vipers SC win they will go tie on points (30) but Vipers SC will reclaim the top summit because of a better goal difference they have compared to URA FC.

Meanwhile, Police FC drop to 5th place on 24 points.
