UPL: Frank Kalanda converts penalty to hand Express FC 5th consecutive win against Busoga United FC.

Six times Uganda premier league Champions, Express FC laboured to defeat troubled Busoga United FC to maintain their perfect run of five straight wins in a game played at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on match day 12 of StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Veteran Frank Kalanda converted from a penalty kick in 25th minute after goalie Omedwa Rogers had brought down Eric Kambale in a forbidden area.


Express FC continues with their unbeaten run of 12 games and record the 4th home win.

Wasswa Bossa’s Coached side go top of the league table on 28 points as they wait on the out come of Vipers SC and Mbarara City game which is going to be played tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Busoga United FC remains in red zone in 14th position with 5 points and still winless in 12 league games.

Express FC will visit UPDF FC as Busoga United FC host bottom placed MYDA FC in their next games on 9th March 2021 for Match day 13.
