Busoga United FC beat Blacks Power (2-0) to record first win of the 2022/23 season at Kakindu Stadium.
Ibrahim Kayiwa and Franco Balaba scored for troubled Busoga United side.
Both sides lost their opening games of the season with the same goal margin, Busoga were beaten by table leaders Maroons (5-0) and Blacks Power lost to BUL FC (5-0) at Akii Bua stadium.
Kayiwa scored off a well laid corner kick with a beutiful header to give Busoga United FC an early lead in 4th minute.
Balaba doubled the host’s lead in 52nd minute from a penalty kick after a detected hand ball in forbidden area.
In the next game, Blacks Power will be home hosting Soltilo Bright Stars at Akii Bua stadium as Busoga United travel to play UPDF FC at Bombo Military ground.
