KCCA FC will be targeting for a positive start when they take on Bright Stars in the first league game.

Bright Stars picked four points in both games combined against KCCA last season. The controversial draw at Lugogo which saw a goal wrongly ruled out was followed by a 2-1 win at Kavumba thanks to goals from Joseph Janjali and Ronald Sempala whole Muzamir Mutyaba brought one back for KCCA.

Bright Stars lost 3-1 to Vipers in their opening game of last season, with Enock Walusimbi sent off at Wankulukuku.
KCCA FC beat Wakiso Giants 1-0 in their 2019/20 opener at Lugogo, and were 1-0 winners at Busoga United in their first away game of last season.
Bright Stars finished 12th with 29 points (7 wins, 8 draws and 10 losses).
KCCA FC were second after 25 games with 50 points (15 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses).
