UPL acquires new Tv channel on StarTimes decorder.

Ugndan top flight league, the StarTimes Uganda Premier has got a new home on StarTimes decorder.

Uganda Premier League shifts from Sanyuka TV, a co-owned TV station by Next Media services and StarTimes, to a FUFA owned TV station, Fufa tv starting with the 2022/23 season.

The channel number on which the FUFA tv will be on StarTimes decorders, both on antenna and dish has not yet been reveal.

Sanyuka TV has been the home for UPL games for the last four seasons.

For Starters, FUFA tv was officially launched this year on free to Air decorders and is still testing signals but has been able to establish itself as one of the fast growing Broadcasters in the country.

FUFA Tv has been broadcasting Fufa Regional league games, Fufa Women Super League, Fufa Drum tournament and 2022 Cecafa Women Championship.

For FUFA tv tight schedule, it has forced them to bring forward the Women Super League games live on TV to start at 10:00 pm from 4:00 pm.

The new season kickoff on this Friday, 30th September, 2022 as Vipers SC takes on Bright Stars at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende and more than 70 matches set to be on TV for first round fixtures.
