Ugandan players exported to foreign leagues did have some playing time over the weekend

In Turkey, Uganda Cranes finest Miya Farouk came off the bench to convert a late 95th minute penalty to give Konyaspor a victory over Rizespor in the Turkish super League.

Miya was scoring his sixth league goal for Konyaspor since joining them in 2019 from Gorica.

In Tanzania, Uganda Cranes right back, Nicolas Wadada played full time as Azam FC was humiliating Singida United in a 7 goal sided thriller.

Boban Zirintusa started the game for Mtibwa Sugar and substituted in 89th for Onesmo Mayana as they shared spoils (1-1) with Alliance away from home.

In Denmark, Uganda Cranes midfielder Moses Opondo started the game for Ondense and substituted in 58th minute for Anders Klynge as Ondense – Sonderyskal duel ended in a 1-1 draw.

Another Ugandan who plies his trade in Danish league, Robert Kakeeto did not make the match day squad as his club Aalborg Bk picked a 2-0 victory at home over Brondby.

In Sweden, Alexis Bbakka did not feature in Umea FC barren stalemate with Osters.

And Ronald Mukiibi’s Ostersunds is playing Msallby on Monday 6th July 2020.
