Ugandan player confirms leaving Gor mahia FC.

Ugandan attacking midfielder, Peter Lwasa has confirmed leaving Kenyan Premier League record champions Gor Mahia Football Club.

Lwasa leaves as a free agent having completed off his two year contract with K’ogalo after series negotiations in renewing it fall through.

“I want to extend a big thanks to everyone at #K’Ogalo for putting in such hard work on every task we have had.” Lwasa posted on his official social media handles.

“It hasn’t been easy, but I think we reached new heights on everything! I’m proud of each one of you for never giving up and supporting one another. He continued.

“To the fans, I can’t find good words to express my appreciation for the support your gave the team, however, big up buddies!

“I wish the club the best ahead.
Have a great time.”

The 24 year old midfielder joined Gor Mahia in September, 2021 from Kariobangi Sharks.

He joins compatriot Shafiq Kagimu from Ugandan trio that played for Gor last season that have departed the club apart from Henry Patrick Kaddu
