Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) has confirmed changes at the board and secretariat level.
The chairman Michael Nuwagaba has resigned from his position and will be out of office by October 16 2023.
Nuwagaba replaced Bashir Ansasira in 2021, and has played for Uganda’s Baby Cricket Cranes(U19) and also served as the Secretary for the association.
Also leaving is the CEO Alan Mugume who resigned and is on notice for three months until December 11 2023.
Mugume became CEO in July last year when he replaced Martin Ondeko.
Rita Kibirige who served as the Finance Manager resigned earlier this month.
“The process to fill these gaps has already started and more details will be shared as and when they are available,” said UCA Secretary Jackson Kavuma.
“We thank the above-mentioned persons for their dedication to Uganda Cricket and we wish them all the best.”
The Association has also confirmed that Cricket Cranes coach Laurence Mahatlane will not have his contract renewed on expiry on October 10.
