U-17 Afcon Qualifiers: Uganda tame South Sudan to make to semis.

*South Sudan 1 – 4 Uganda cubs

Uganda’s Under 17 National Football team, Cubs, beat South Sudan (4-1) in the ongoing Zonal Qualifiers in Ethiopia to book a semi final slot.

Arafat Nkoola bagged a brace as Patrick Sembusi and Walusimbi Abubakali each scored once to ensure that Hamza Lutalo’s coached side walk away with victory.

Uganda registered their second successive victory in group B after a 4-0 victory against Burundi and they make to the semis as group leaders.

Abraham Langoya scored consolation goal for South Sudan side.

Tanzania joined Uganda in semis after beating hosts (Ethiopia) 3-2 in the last game of the day.

Uganda will meet the runners up of group A and a victory in semis will see that Uganda cubs play in the finals of final tournament in Algeria.
