Two players extend their contracts with Mbarara City FC

Western Uganda based Uganda Premier League based club, Mbarara City FC have confirmed extension of contracts of striker Jude Ssemugabi and goalkeeper Martin Elugant.

Two of the mentioned players above, each has inked a two year contract and play for the Ankole lions untill the 2022/23 season.

Jude Ssemugabi joined Mbarara City FC in 2018 after becoming the top scorer of Buganda Masaza Cup tournament in 2018.

Meanwhile, Martin Elugant joined Mbarara City FC as on a free transfer in 2020, he brings his vast experience to the team having worked with big Uganda Premier League clubs before and some Kenya Premier League clubs.

Elungat has previously played for Fire Masters, SC Villa and Express FC in Uganda as well as morohoni Youth, Thika United and Zoo FC in Kenya.

Mbarara City FC finished in 7th position by the time the league was ended prematurely due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Collected 42 points from 27 games.
