Transfers: Wakiso Giants unveils first signing ahead of 2022/23 season.

Uganda Premier League outfit, Wakiso Giants Football Club unveiled goalkeeper, Bashir Sekagya as their first acquisition to the squad ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Sekagya inked a two year contract with purple sharks which will see play for them until 2024.

He joins Wakiso Giants as a free agent after seeing off his contract with Kenyan club, Wazito Football Club.

The former Vipers SC goalie is excited about joining Wakiso based club.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for me to continue my growth as a goalkeeper with such an ambitious club and will do all in my abilities to help the club.” Bashir Sekagya told club website.

Sekagya went through the youth team of KCCA FC before seeking playing time with UPDF FC were he impressed and prompted Vipers SC to him in 2018.

He went out on loan to Proline FC during his spell with Vipers SC.
