Transfers: Pius Obuya Completes Move to KCCA FC.

As the Uganda Premier League next season not so far from start, day by day Clubs are gearing up by offloading some of the players to create room for the incoming ones with the likes of Vipers SC and KCCA FC going pounds to pounds for the best local talent.

The latest signing at Lugogo based club is not other than Pius Obuya, who has been club’s player on radar for the past season.

Pius Obuya has joined the 13 times league Champions, KCCA FC on a three year contract from already relegated Maroons FC.

Obuya’s journey with Maroons stretches back in 2003 while for the under age team and had some short stints with Proline Soccer Academy before going back to maroons to play in their Under 17 and 2016 he was part of the Maroons FC squad that led Maroons back to topflight football.

Pius Obuya is seen as KCCA FC’s replacement for departed Allan Okello who is now at the books of Algerian outfit Paradou AC.

He becomes Mike Mutebi’s fourth signing as he joins the Italian Stefano Mazengo, Charles Lwanga and Ashraf Mugume who have already joined the club ahead of 2020/21 season.:

KCCA FC is set to unveil Pius Obuya together with Uganda Cranes utility player, Denis Iguma who is also believed to have joined the Club.
