Transfers: Gadaffi Modern FC unveils former ‘VEK’ player.

Gadaffi Modern FC continue with their spending spree in the ongoing transfer window with the latest additional of Winger, Simon Serunkuma.

Serunkuma has inked a two year contract with the top Army sides owned club.

He has been clubless since parting ways with KCCA FC, at Gadaffi FC, Serunkuma reunites with his former head coach, Wasswa Bbosa.

Serunkuma is on a long list of players that have played for the three Uganda traditional clubs ‘VEK’ (Villa, Express, KCCA) and these includes Steven Bengo, Morley Byekwaso, Charles Livingston Mbabazi, Herman Wasswa, Allan Kyambade and of late Sadam Juma.

He becomes the eighth new signing by Mahad  Kakooza, Johnson Odong, Shafiq Ssekyembe, Charles Musige, Dan Birikwalira, Kiyemba Ibrahim and Shafiq Bakaki.

Kiyemba was named the new club captain ahead of the forthcoming season, 2022/23.
