Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko Sports Club, yesterday – 3rd August, 2022 unveiled Uganda Cranes forward, Steven Mukwala as their new player.
Mukwala signed a two year contract with the Porcupine warriors.
“The Ugandan joins us on a free transfer for a period of two years with an option to extend for a further year.” Club posted.
Asante Kotoko have been great admirer of the center forward since emerging the top scorer (13) of Uganda Premier League for 20120 season while playing for Maroons.
Mukwala becomes the third Ugandan player to don Asante Kotoko shirt following Joseph Ochaya and George Abege who have done it before.
The 23 year old player set to feature in CAF champions league next season with the team having emerged as the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League champions.
Mukwala has previously played for Edgar Youths FC, Vipers SC, Maroons and URA FC.
