Sudan Premier League giants, Al Merrikh have completed the signing of top striker, Eric Kenzo Kambale from Express FC.
Kambale has inked a two year contract with 19 times Sudan Premier League champions and this will see him play for Mars until 2024.
“Joining the Mars club is a big step in my career and I look forward to Championships.” Briefly said Eric Kambale on joining Al Merrikh.
Last month, Kambale trained with Al Merrikh and did impress the bosses of the club and these are the fruits of his time he spent with them.
As earlier reported by this website, Express FC would be reaping around 100 millions Uganda shillings from the deal.
For the two seasons that Kambale has featured for Express FC, he scored 23 goals and helping the team to win 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season plus Kagame Cup.
Al Merrikh is drawn against Djibouti giants, Arta Solar at the Preliminary round of Total Energies CAF champions league for 2022/23 campaign.
And if, Al Merrikh passes Arta Solar test, they will play the winner between KMKM SC and Al Ahali Tripoli of Libya for final qualifying round before group stages.
