Uganda Police Football Club continue to bolster their squad in quest to earn promotion back to top flight league and have unveiled experienced midfielder Gadaffi Kacancu.
Kacancu has signed a two year contract with cops.
“From Arua to Kampala, we are thrilled to welcome midfield orchestrator 𝐆𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐮 who joins us from Arua Hill SC. Our 13th recruit has inked a two-year deal and will dictate play in the midfield until 2025.” Reads club statement.
Police FC management dissolved the whole of technical team headed by Angelo Lonyesi that was in charge of team last season after failing to guide the club back to Uganda Premier League and losing Uganda Cup title to Vipers SC and a new coach has not yet been named yet with one week left to start the Betpawa Fufa Big League
Kacancu has previously played for Soltilo Bright Stars, Mbarara City FC and Arua Hills SC.
Police have busy in the ongoing transfer market and new faces have unveiled which includes Daniel Otto,Timothy Muwagizi, Obedi Brian James and Tukahirwa Edgar.
Police FC will open their 2023/24 Big league campaign against Young Elephant FC on 25th September, 2023.
