Transfer News: Mbale Heroes FC sign former Gomba Lion’s center back.

Free spending Eastern Regional Football outfit, Mbale Heroes FC has signed former Gomba Lion’s center back, Abdallah Sentongo.

He is blessed with quick game reading skills, Confidence, unique technical abilities and leadership skills. Welcome to the most successful club in Eastern Uganda,Sentongo.” Club posted on their social media platforms.

Sentonga won two Masaza Cup finals with Gomba in 2017 and 2021 before transferring to Buddu were he captained the county to their second Championship for 2022 edition.

Sentongo has previously featured for Azam FC, a Buganda regional league club and Kampala Juinor Team (KJT).

He becomes the Surgeons 9th signing in the ongoing transfer window after Sserwada Nasiru, Umar Kyeyune, Obelle Ronald, James Otim, Mark Bamukyawe, Jackson Obwere, Fred Gwoto and Shaka Sozzi.

The two times Uganda Cup Champions have as well renewed contracts of their players they used last season and these includes; Fahad Nsamba, Makumba Stephen, Derrick Daniel Dangachur, Didi Muhammad Kasule and Lubangakene.

Mbale Heroes are preparing for the upcoming 2022/23 season in FUFA Eastern Regional league and will hope to perform better than last season where Jinja North United FC denied them a chance qualify to the StarTimes Fufa Big league in the regional final playoff.
