Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club unveiled thier sixth signing , Brian Aheebwa ahead of new season.
The 22 year old lad has been on Mike Mutebi’s wishlist since last seaaon.
He joins the 13 times league Champions on three years contract from Mbarara City Football Club as he was unveiled on KCCA FC TV show that runs on sanyuka TV on every Sundays night.
“Me joining KCCA FC has been a tough really amazing, it has not been an easy decision to make coming from home bases side Mbarara, it has been a hard decision to make but i had to cope and step up and make another step in my carrer. ” Brian Aheebwa told KCCA FC TV before adding.
“I feel delighted, motivated and excited to jin a top club like KCCA FC with top players and top staffs at KCCA FC, I just feel happy and delighted for the that.”
” When Coach called, I was really happy to see the call, it really motivated me and encouraged and gave me hope to play Football to another level and had to take up the opportunity.” He said
“I want to be atop scorer of the league and adding value to KCCA FC and take it to another level, I want to archive many goals with KCCA FC.”
“Definitely in football the higher you go the hotter it becomes, so I will cope with the KCCA FC because I believe KCCA FC has got better players and better managers, so with their help I take it on and be good player for KCCA FC.” He continued.
Brian Aheebwa says fans should expect smiles on their faces and goals next season.
“The fans should expect smiles on their faces because as scorer I will be scoring goals and should expect Brian Aheebwa a goal scorer. He concluded.
Brian Aheebwa has been with Mbarara City Football Club since when it was still playing in FUFA Big league in 2016 and leaves them when has scored 32 goals in total for them.
And last season he scored 8 goals in Uganda premier league and 3 goals in Uganda Cup which earned him a national team call up for CHAN preparation before it was cancelled due to Covid 19.
KCCA FC has now officially signed six players in this ongoing transfer window and these includes; Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume, Stefano loro Mazengo, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani and latest one Brian Aheebwa.
The club have already confirmed the departure of Kizza Mustafa a left back who joined Major league soccer club Montreal Impact but still will hold up to him till December 2020 as well they revealed they will not be with Nunda Jackson and Tom Ikara come next season after being released.
