Tanzania walloped Zanzibar (12 – 0) to finish as group B winners in the ongoing Cecafa Women Championship.
Clement Opa Tukumbuke scored four goals as Omara Shurua bagged a hat-trick.
Meanwhile, Paragamwe Janneth, Mubunda Pius Protasia, Mbama Ester and Msewa Lucas each scored once.
Ethiopia defeated South Sudan 4 – 0 and finished in the second position.
The two games were played simultaneously to avoid syndicate because both Tanzania and Ethiopia were tied on same points (4) heading into the final group games.
Tanzania played at Njeru technical center and the other game was played at Bugembe Stadium in Jinja.
Tanzania will play Burundi in semi finals as Uganda take on Ethiopia.
The two semi final fixtures will be played on 9th June 2022.
