Uganda Cranes defensive midfielder, Taddeo Lwanga is among the three players whose contracts have been terminated by Tanzanian premier league giants, Simba SC on mutual consent.
In a statement released by Simba SC, indicated that Ugandan player (Taddeo Lwanga), Rwandan striker, Meddie Kagere and Congolese forward, Chris Mugalu, their contracts have been terminated.
“The leadership of the Simba club has reached an agreement to terminate the contract with three of our players, Meddie Kagere, Chris Mugalu and Taddeo Lwanga.” Reads part of Statement released by Simba SC.
“After negotiations with the players, we have finally reached an agreement to terminate the contract based on the interest of all parties.”
“We wish them all the best wherever they go.”
Lwanga joined Simba SC from Egyptian club, Tanta FC, after failing to pay his salary dues for several months.
The Engineer trained player has spent one and half year with Simba SC and helped the team to win 2020/21 Mainland season.
He has previously played for Express FC, Sports Club Villa, and Vipers Sports Club.
