The first Jinja derby of 2021/22 season ended in favor of Busoga United FC as they handed a rude welcome to the newbies of Uganda Premier League, Gadaffi FC in the game played at Gadaffi Arena.
Abbey Kikomeko’s coached side were victorious (2-0) on their maiden league game.
All the two goals came in second half through Elvis Ngode and Ntege Anwar in 52′,54′ respectively.
Despite the win for the Busoga United FC, they fininshed off the game with one less after their goalscorer Elvis Ngode picking up a second booking in 87th minute.
Gadaffi FC were making their debut in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
