Free agent striker, Steven Mukwala has confirmed he is in negotiations with Ghana Premier League giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko for a possible move.
Mukwala while on loan last season with relegated Maroons from Vipers, scored 13 goals from 23 league appearances becoming the topscorer of the league, on top of more good display.
After Vipers SC releasing him in the ongoing transfer window, Mukwala was likely to join four times Uganda premier league Champions, URA FC but nothing yet has been agreed on and the player is looking more likely to join the porcupine warriors.
“For now, I can’t say much because we are still negotiating,”
“We haven’t finished the deal yet. We are in talks and hope for the best.” Mukwala told Oyorepa FM in Ghana.
If all goes well, Mukwala will be the third Ugandan player to play for Asante Kotoko so as in the Ghana Premier after Joseph Ochaya and George Abege also trying their luck before.
