Uganda Cranes forward, Steven ‘Dese’ Mukwala confirmed leaving URA Football Club after seeing off his contract with tax collectors.

Mukwala has used his social media platforms to announce his departure from four times Uganda Premier League champions.

“I take this opportunity to thank the URA Football Club for the Chance it gave me to be part of its project. Saying goodbye is always the hardest thing for me. But I guess it’s time to move on.” Steven Mukwala Dese twitted.

Mukwala was already spotted in Ghana to seal his anticipated move Ghana Premier league reigning champions, Asante Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko have been closely monitoring Mukwala’s situations for quite some time.

If the deal materialises, he will become the third Uganda players to play for the club after George Abege and Joseph Ochaya.

Mukwala has previously played for Vipers SC, Maroons and Bulemeezi in Masaza Cup tournament.
