Simba SC appoint former Rayon Sport Coach as Sven’s replacement.

Tanzania Mainland League three times defending Champions, Simba Sports Club have appointed Frenchman experienced Coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa as their next Head coach.

“Didier Gomes Da Rosa is the new Coach of national champions, Simba SC.” Club statement.

“He is the Rock of African football with great experience of major competitions on the continent, having won several trophies.”

51 year old coach replaces Belgian coach Sven Vandenbroeck who resigned a day after guiding Simba SC to group stages of CAf Champions league.

Didier Gomes has got vast experience with African Football having handled a number of big African clubs on the continent.

First arrived on African continent in 2012 as head coach of Rwanda Premier League outfit Rayon Sports and guided them to the triumph of n the league the following year.

He later joined Cameroonnban giants Coton Sport in 2013 since then he has been in books of CS Constantine of Algeria, Horoya AC of Guinea, Ismaily of Egypt and has been the head coach of Sudanese giant Al Merrikh.

Didier Gomes holds a Uefa A coaching license and his immediate task is to guide Simba SC to their 4th consecutive League title were they occupying second position behind table leaders Young Africans.
