When one door closes, another opens they say, such is the case for forward George Senkaaba and big league side Kitara FC.
Senkaaba is set to seal a loan move to big league side Kitara FC from premier league side URA FC until the end of the season, Ndibba can exclusively confirm.
Senkaaba joined the Tax Collectors at the start of this season after his two year spell at Express FC where he won the league and CECAFA Kagame Cup double.
But at URA FC, the 29 year old didn’t exactly hit the ground running quickly however managed five league goals in as many games in the first round.
With the departure of Derrick Nsibambi to Albashaer club in Oman, Senkaaba was expected to lead the line to hunt for goals in the second round.
However, Ndibba reliably understands that the head coach Sam Timbe just didn’t trust the forward and preferred to go back to the market for another striker.
Senkaaba who is expected to replace fellow forward Patrick Kaddu, currently on the books of Kenya’s Gor Mahia becomes Kitara FC’s second major capture in the January window.
This is after the arrival of his former Express FC teammate Godfrey Lwesibawa who also joined on a six month deal.
Kitara FC is currently leading the FUFA Big league with 31 points after the first round, one adrift of Mbarara City FC, NEC FC and Police FC who are second, third and fourth respectively.
Both Senkaaba and Lwesibwa will be tasked to ensure the Masindi based club gain promotion again to the top flight.
