SC Villa to use Mutesa II stadium as home ground for next season.

Sc Villa team that played Uganda Cup semi final against Vipers SC when they used Wankulukuku as their home ground.

Uganda Premier League record holders, Sports Club Villa (16) will use Mutesa II stadium in Wankulukuku as their home ground come next season, 2022/23.

SC Villa has been hosting their games at Njeru technical center and this costed team so much, because they to train on natural grass and play games at artificial turf.

The Joogo’s side are set to share the venue with their archi rivals, Express FC and it’s not going to be the first time, Villa used host some of their games at the same venue during Ben Misaga’s reign when he was still the President of the Club.

Flavia Kyomuhendo, who is the facility manager revealed  the development to New Vision when asked about reports of evicting Express FC from the stadium and possibility of SC Villa hosting games at Wankulukuku.

“There is no such thing as the eviction of Express from Wankulukuku. This is still their home ground, we are not demanding money from them, whatever is being said treat it as false information.” Kyomuhendo Flavia revealed to New Vision before adding.

“It’s true SC Villa is also going to use the facility for their home games next season. The two will share the ground because those making fixtures make proper arrangements that can accommodate both teams.”

SC Villa previously used has used Masaka Recreational ground, Mitiyana Saza ground, Wankulukuku, Namboole, Njeru Technical Center and Nakivubo as their home ground.
