SC Villa returns to Njeru Technical Center.

Uganda Premier League giants, SC Villa have confirmed they be hosting their 2021/22 season games at FUFA owned ground FUFA Technical Center.

The 16 times record league Champions confirmed this development via their official club website through their new Deputy Chief Executive Officer Nambalirwa Kawuma Brenda.

“We have returned to Njeru as had earlier been arranged by the club before we shifted to Kavumba recently. So, we will be playing all our home games there until Namboole is available again in the future.” Deputy CEO Nambalirwa confirmed.

This comes after Club CEO, Mohammed Bazirengede last week said that they opted out of the same ground to Kavumba recreation ground due to the long distance which is not easily accessible to fans as well as players.

SC Villa missed out on the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixtures of first round after failing to attain the license due to club disorganization but FUFA confirmed over the weekend  that they have granted them a provisional license after agreeing to their full fill their directives.

So they are set to have their first league against Vipers SC on 27th October 2021 at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
