SC Villa finalise the signing of Hippos’ defender.

Uganda Premier League 16 times record Champions, SC Villa have unveiled Kenneth Semakula as their second signing ahead of the forthcoming 2021/22 season.

The Uganda Hippos’  central defender has penned down a three year contract with the Joogos.

The 18 year old player joins SC Villa from Bul FC just after one season with the Jinja based outfit.

Semakula was part of the Uganda Hippo’s team that were runners in the U20 Africa Nations Championship.

He has previously played for Busoga United FC before joining BUL FC .

Semakula becomes the second new player to join SC Villa after Masaza Cup winner Charles Bbale from Gomab Lions.

But several players have as well left the club and these includes; Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, Keni Saidi, Faizal Muwawu, Derrick Ndahiro, Fahad Badiro and Lukwago Nasser.

It’s believed that SC Villa is courting many players to bring them at Villa Park and among includes former ugaUga Cranes player Godfrey Walusimbi and Hassan Wasswa Mawanda who are free agents.
