Sixteen (16) times record Uganda Premier League Champions, 3 times Cecafa Champions and 9 times Uganda Cup holders, Sports Club Villa interim who are into their third year since they took control of the club have embarked on new journey of registering Congress members which usher in new club president as well as the Club Executive.
As per press release released by the club, on 12th September FUFA granted permission SC Villa to change the ownership of the club and is now being owned by the ‘Villa Members Trust’.
On 30th October 2020, the Club interim committee spearheaded the kickoff of registering of the members of the ‘Villa Members Trust’ who are now the owners of the club with annual subscription of 50,000 Ugx. and the ceremony was held at 5 star Hotel Sheraton Kampala and FUFA President, Hon: Engineer Moses Magogo was in attendance and his number VTM/100 was reserved for him.

The Congress is expected to constitute of members not more than 120 and inorder to subscribe as a Congress members, first you need to be registered as Villa Member Trust and secondly you have to pay 1m Ugx annually.
The first Sports Club Villa Congress will be held on 17th July 2021 10:00 Hrs and will be done scientifically due to Covid-19 pandemic.
And only members who would have paid up the fee of one million and 50,000 for the Villa Members Trust by 14th July 2021 will be able to attend the Congress.
Among the three things which are expected from maiden Congress includes below;
1. Promulgate the Sports Club Villa Statutes.
2. Kick Start and road map of the election of the club President and Executive Board.
3. Sporting and Business status of the club.
