For the first time since Sports Club Villa interim headed by their former player, William Nkemba was put in place two years ago, has called the press on 14th Wednesday at Shelton Kampala Hotel, Ball Room ahead of announcement of new changes at the club.
The SC Villa interim Committee was instituted in July 2018 and was tasked to work on Club’s new constitution that was supposed to proceed with structures to ignite the Club new President and were given initial six months to complete the job before the committee seeking more time from the Federation since alot of work was needed to be done.
On 29th August 2019, Some of FUFA Executive members headed by himself the FUFA president Eng: Moses Magogo together with some elders members of the SC Villa like Franco Mugabe held a meeting, and reached on agreement that the Joogos to organize elections on 1st February 2020, with interim Committee to unveil road map from the time of meeting within 14 days, but all these didn’t come to happen and neither the Interim Committee or FUFA came out with the official communication on why what they had promised never came to witness.

SC Villa new constitution.
The Interim Committee has been running the club for two years without the constitution and it’s one of the tasks that FUFA gave them to work on. Since Missaga’s reign Villa’s constitution has been in limbo arising a lot of questions with little answers.
Ownership of the Club.
For so long SC Villa ownership has been in doubt with Club registered in many names such as Sports Club Villa joogo, Sports Club Villa Limited and Sports Club Villa Lusaka Commodities, and fans have been hing in balance which team to follow.
The club ownership is set to take new trend, adopting of the ‘Villa Members Trustee’ with seven members already granted the certificate of the incorporation trustee from ministry of lands. In a document that circulated on the social media, The seven members of the owners of the Villa Members Trustee includes, Franco Mugabe, Omar Mandela,Gerald Ssendawula, Mc Dusman Kalega, Fredrick Ivan Kawuma, Moses Matovu and William Nkemba.
With ‘Villa Members Trustee’ in place, anew governing body is expected to named to run the club day to day duties on their behalf.
SC Villa Interim committee is also expected to unveil the new Villa badge, as the interim Cheif Executive Officer Shaun Mubiru on occasions when hosted on media has hinted that among the new changes coming up, the Villa badge will change as way of branding of patent of Villa properties and avoid counterfeit.
