Our Goals Acca Tips are based on a statistical analysis of recent performances.
Benfica to Score 2+
Benfica will look to maintain their blistering start to the season, as they travel to the Estádio Municipal de Famalicão to take on lowly Famalicão.
Benfica maintained their 100% start to their Primeira Liga campaign, as they came from behind to defeat Vizela 2-1 last time out thanks to a stoppage-time penalty from João Mário.
Famalicão suffered a 1-0 defeat away at Portimonense last time out, meaning Rui Pedro Silva’s hosts come into this match occupying the relegation play-off spot.
The Eagles have struck 13 times in their opening five league fixtures this season and they look good to score at least twice away at their struggling opponents.
Inter vs Torino – Both Teams to Score
Inter will look to return to winning ways, as they face a tricky test at home to Torino at San Siro on Saturday teatime.
Inter lost for the second consecutive away match in Serie A last weekend, as they followed up their defeat in the capital against Lazio with a 3-2 defeat against city-rivals Milan.
Ivan Jurić’s visitors bounced back from their first defeat of the season away at league leaders Atalanta, by overcoming newly-promoted Lecce 1-0 last time out to leave them sitting in sixth-position.
The Nerazzurri have scored in all five of their league fixtures this season but given their only clean sheet came against Spezia and that Torino have scored in 4/5 of their league outings, I’m happy to have a play on both sides finding the back of the net here.
Barcelona to Score 2+
Barcelona will look to continue their impressive run of form, as they travel to Nuevo Mirandilla to take on bottom-side Cádiz.
After beginning the season with a 0-0 draw at home to Rayo Vallecano, Xavi’s visitors went on to win their next three La Liga fixtures at home to Real Valladolid and away at both Real Sociedad and Sevilla.
It’s been a miserable start to the season for Cádiz, as Sergio’s hosts have lost all four of their opening La Liga fixtures to leave them bottom of the table.
Barça’s have struck 11 goals in their last three league fixtures, as well as five during the week in the Champions League against Czech side Viktoria Plzeň and they should score at least twice against a Cádiz that’s already let in 10 goals this term.
Nashville SC to Score 2+
Nashville will look to strengthen their place inside the play-offs, as they host an LA Galaxy side currently just outside the play-off places in an all Western Conference clash.
Gary Smith’s hosts defeated Austin 3-0 at home in their last league outing, meaning the Boys in Gold have now won each of their last four MLS fixtures.
The Galaxy were frustratingly held to a 2-2 draw at home to Sporting KC last time out meaning they’ve drawn three of their last four matches.
Nashville have scored 14 goals in those four victories and look a good bet to bag a brace against a Galaxy defence that’s conceded 13 goals in their last six matches on their travels.
