Saidi Kyeyune joins Al Merrikh after an impressive show piece at Chan.

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club and Uganda Cranes midfielder, Said I Kyeyune has joined Sudan Premier League giants, Al Merrikh after putting up personal good performance in the ongoing 2021 Chan tournament in Cameroon that cought the eye of Merrikh officials.

Uganda Cranes didn’t make past the group stages but he managed to score two goals from three games, one against Togo and another one in 7-2 loss to Morocco.

Kyeyune joins Al Merrikh on one year contract and follows in footsteps of Ugandans who have featured for this great club before and these includes Joseph Kabagambe, Mike Mutyaba and goalie Salim Jamal Magoola.

The 28 year old Midfielder will feature in the upcoming group stages of CAf Champions league and Al Merrikh is pooled in group A alongside defending Champions Al Ahly, AS Vita and Tanzania’s Simba.
