Sadat Anaku denied Visa entry into Libya.

Scottish Premier League club, Dundee United FC have confirmed that, Sadat Anaku has returned to the club after having issues with Visa which has prevented him to connect with the rest of his colleagues of U23 National Football team who are camping in Libya.

“Sadat Anaku has returned early from international duty with Uganda due to a Visa issue preventing him from entering Libya to join the squad.” Club statement.

Sadat Anaku was part of the Uganda Kobs squad that were summoned to camp in Libya, were they are having friendly matches.

Yesterday, Uganda U23 played to a goalless draw with Libya and Anaku was expected to take part in the second friendly match against Tanzania U23 on 24th September, 2022.

Both Countries are preparing for the forthcoming U23 African Nations Championship Qualifiers which kick off in October.

Anaku came off the bench as his side lost to Rangers in their league fixture and the are hosting St Johstone FC on 1st October, 2022.
