Rezlife Saints picked their third victory of the season after overcoming JKL Dolphins in the National Basketball League game at YMCA Court in Wandegeya.

The Saints needed to survive a fourth quarter surge from the Dolphins, before sealing a needed win.

The Saints were 51-30 up after the third quarter, but collapsed in the last quarter as JKL threaded a 22-point run.

The Dolphins tied the game 55-55 thanks to Joseph Dramaza’s three-pointer with few seconds on the clock, but from a timeout, Thok Timothy scored a game winning jumper to dent JKL.

Thok finished with 12 points, as many as Emmanuel Okot’s tally while Michael Otieno scored 11 points and 12 rebounds to complete a double double.

For JKL, John Focus Teko (13), Denis Tom Omara (12) and David Kalala (11) reached double digits in scoring.

It’s the third win in 10 games for Rezlife who had earlier beaten Ndejje University and UPDF Tomahawks. This is loss number six in nine games for JKL Dolphins.

In the Ladies fixture, JKL Lady Dolphins eased past A1 Challenge who scored just four points in a whole first quarter.
