Uganda Premier League club, Police FC have agreed personal terms over the transfer of their forward, Derrick Kakooza to join Belgian first division league outfit Royal Sporting Anderlecht .
Reports coming in indicates that Uganda Hippos’ forward has put a pen to paper to a five year contract with the Purple and white sporting and only awaits the paper work to become the second Ugandan to play in the Belgian first division league after Miya Farouq turning out for St Liege.
Kakooza graduated from the Police FC under age teams to play for the senior team.
He emerged as the top scorer (5) of the U20 Total African Championships which took place in Mauritania and Uganda finished as runners up to Ghana satellites.
If all goes well for the talented striker, he will be playing under the stewardship of former Manchester City FC center back Vicente Komapany.
