Egyptian FA wants to log in their request to Confederation of African Football (CAF) body to host the remaining three games of CAF champions league following Cameroon decline to host the competition.

Reports say, that Egyptian FA will be heading into discussion very soon to decide whether they can host or not the most prestigious CAF Club Competition, remember Egyptian is still having two of their teams Zamalek and Al Ahly still in the competition which could act as advantage to its teams due to huge fan base back at home.

CAF Champions league final was set to be hosted by Cameroon in May this year in Doula, but due to the outbreak of Convid -19, the Competition was postponed, until when the CAF Executive committee that sat last month rescheduled the competition to be played in September with one leg played in the semi finals.

CAF was considering discussing with Cameroon of possibility of hosting the Competition for the remaining games, but the discussion fall out after Cameroon coming to declare they not capable of hosting the CAF champions league.

Egypt hosted the CAF U23 Nations Cup and senior Men’s Competition African Cup of Nations last year.

Bein sports recently revealed that the Champions league could be held in United Arab Emirates in Asia considering the previous two CAF Super Cups being held outside Africa.

Zamalek SC will take on Raja Casablanca and AL Ahly take on Wydad Casablanca in the semi finals of CAF Competition.

The mini CAF confederation Cup remains unchanged, Morocco will host the Competition.
