Pre-mini Chan tournament: Uganda Cranes outclass Niger in final game.



*Niger 0 – 3 Uganda.

Three half time goals were enough for Uganda Cranes to perfectly outclass Niger (3-0) as they climaxed the Pre-mini Chan tournament taking place Cameroon.

Vipers SC forward Milton Karisa scored a brace in 4′, 14′ and in between the first goal and third goal, Said Kyeyune had doubled Cranes lead in 10th minute.

Four substitutions were from the team that started the game, Tonny Mawejje came in for Shafiq Kagimu,
Vianne Sekajugo paved way for Ibrahim Orit, Boboosi Byaruhanga came in for goal scorer Said Kyeyune and Joackim Ojera paved way for Ben Ocen.

Uganda Cranes registered a draw (1-1) with Cameroon before two succession wins against Zambia and Niger (2-0).

Mcknistry’s coached side scored in every game they have played, scoring six goals and conceding one against Cameroon.

Earlier on Johnathan Mcknistry dropped four players the squad that travelled to Cameroon namely; Ashraf Mandela, Joseph Ssemujju, Steven Mukwala, Sam Senyonjo and replaces them with four other KCCA FC players ( Charles Lukwago, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, Brian Ahebwa).

Uganda Cranes will fly out to Douala tomorrow 8th Friday for a camp of seven days before kick start of final tournament which starts on 16th January up to 7th February.
