Pre-Chan tournament: Two red cards headlines Uganda – Cameroon duel stalemate.

As the sixth edition of Chan tournament nears to kickoff, participating counties have started preparing for the final tournament with friendly matches, Uganda Cranes played to a 1-1 all draw with Cameroon in a test practice match as both teams finished off the game with one less in the game played at stade Ahmadou Ahdjo.

Police FC forward, Ben Ocen was shown a straight red card as early as 11th minute and intermediate Lions scored a an opener in 12th minute curtesy of Banga B Solomom’s header from a resultant freekick to put the hosts in the lead.

Mcknistry made one change bl before the end of first half as Karim Watambala paved way for Bul FC’s Joseph Ssemujju in 33′.

Viper SC pacy forward, Milton Kalisa equalized the game (1-1) in 70th minute.

And this ringed in several changes in the team, Joakim Ojera paved way for Vianney Sekajugo, Bobosi Byaruhanga paved came in for team captain Tonny Mawejje and lastly Shaban Muhammed replaced goal hero Milton Kalisa.

In the 4 added minutes, Abouri Basile was sent off, both teams to end the game each with one man less.

Cameroon are hosting a four Nations tournament as they gear up for forthcoming 2021 Chan tournament to start on 16 up to 7th February.

Uganda Cranes next game will be against Milutin Micho’s coached Zambian side on 4th January 2021.
